What We Do.
Pre-Inspection Process:
- The Construction &/or the Scaffold Client engages SAS to conduct inspections on their behalf with costs and scope are agreed upon.
- The Scaffold Client informs the Construction Client of the SAS engagement and the necessary contact info is exchanged (or vice-versa).
SAS System & Inspection Process:
- The Scaffold Client provides necessary info to SAS about the Site, Structure & Lead Scaffolder. This info is used to create profiles on the SAS System and to cover Due Diligence.
- SAS will contact each client and inform the select representatives of the intended inspection dates.
- The SAS Agent is inducted to the site before the first inspection.
- SAS conduct inspection.
- Once an inspection is complete, it will automatically be uploaded to the SAS System (in Real-time). The SAS System will then email each registered recipient with a copy of the inspection report.
- A visual log from within the SAS System will also be updated, that complies with current Guidelines.
Faults & Sign-off Process:
- If any Faults are found on inspection, The Site Management will be informed & given possible options for remedy.
- If a fault is found while on inspection that can be easily remedied e.g. Re-installing a removed handrail, it will be done by the SAS Agent and Highlighted in the report.
- If a fault cannot be easily remedied by the SAS Agent, The Agent will isolate the faulted area and attempt to keep as much of the structure open as possible. The Agent will then inform the Site Management & the Scaffold Client so they can make any required adjustments and/or replies.
- If the structure is deemed “SAFE” upon completion of the inspection, The SAS Agents will sign the Scaffold Tag, and this completes the inspection process.
